The service

Tales of Ember (the "game"), its online services and the studio's official social media presence are provided by PuzaGames (Przemysław Puzoń), Poland. By playing or by interacting with our accounts you agree to these terms and to the rules of the platform you are using.

Accounts and conduct

One account per person; you are responsible for what happens under it.
No cheating, automation of gameplay, exploitation of bugs, harassment of other players, or impersonation of the studio.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules and void matches or rewards obtained through them.

Purchases

In-game purchases are made through Steam, Google Play or the App Store under their terms and refund rules. Virtual items have no monetary value outside the game and cannot be traded or transferred.

Content

The game, its names, artwork, audio and text are the property of PuzaGames. The game's card mechanics derive from OpenSky, released under the Apache License 2.0 by Horizon Blockchain Games / Sequence Platforms ULC; the required notice ships with the game. Tales of Ember is not affiliated with or endorsed by Horizon or Sequence. You may stream, record and share footage of the game.

Social media

Comments you leave on our official posts are public on that platform and may be answered by the studio. Our accounts follow each platform's rules, and replies are written by a person rather than generated and posted automatically.

Contacting press and creators

We write to journalists and content creators about the game, using business contact addresses those people have published for that purpose, or platforms they joined in order to receive offers of this kind. Every such message identifies the studio, says where we found the address, and carries a working opt-out. If you ask us to stop, we stop and we keep a record of your address for the sole purpose of never contacting you again.

Liability and changes

The game is provided as is; we may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give notice before shutting down online services. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Polish law applies, without prejudice to the consumer protections of your country of residence.
